This photo was taken at Merritt College in Oakland, California around 2004-2005. This picture represents the original leadership, staff, Academic Counselors and Tutors that worked with the Oakland Unified School District's Class of 2005.
With our help, many more students were able to attend college, and other post secondary opportunities.
In this photo, I see so many people that I spent countless hours with, working, laughing, planning, etc.
I hope Project S.O.A.R. (Successful Options for Academic Readiness) continues to do the work that we started in 1999.
