Eady's Chicago

These are a few photos of my sister Sherry and I with my and dad. You can see, they always kept us looking clean.

You can't tell me I wasn't a cute child. lol. Are you peeping the baseball and bat in my hand. Who knew I would still be using those things today?!

All I can think of, is how lucky I am to have the parents I have and the life that they worked so hard to give me. Thank God.

Bub, Elmo and the kids.

This is a polaroid of my Great Grandfather Bub which was his nickname and my uncle Elmo. You can see that Elmo was a sharp dresser no doubt. I was suited and booted too. lol.

This is my first time seeing this photo, but I love it.

I ran across this 1976 photo of my mom and dad looking fly. I think this was on a visit to California, where we eventually moved.

1992 Senior Prom

Man, what more can I say?! The photo says it all! These were some of my closest homeboys in high school. I am still in contact with a few of them. We kinda just took this photo on the fly. But it marks one of the best times in my life. James Logan High School. I came up with our class motto which was, "Peace, Love, Unity and 92!"

My first modeling gig!

This was my first modeling gig. Jess Z. and I had driven some friends to take their senior portraits one summer day, and we were just chillin' outside listening to some Gangstarr.

Somehow, we end up wandering into the building where the photographer gave us some cash to go to the Kmart across the street to buy the basketball that you see in my hands.

The photographer went on to use this photo in advertisements and I believe I got the hook up on my own Senior Photos.

A Friend who is always there.

This is Graduation day, December 14, 1997 at Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA. My parents came, my auntie and cousin from Greenville, Mississippi came. And here is a photo of one of my greatest friends in life, "D".

Not only has he been there for this graduation, but he has been there for my wedding, my graduation from Graduate School, and any place I move, he always comes to see me. I haven't been to Atlanta in over 10 years. I feel like Rosco Jenkins in that regard. But he never holds it against me and I ran across this photo and had to give my boy his props.

The Original Project S.O.A.R.

This photo was taken at Merritt College in Oakland, California around 2004-2005.

This picture represents the original leadership, staff, Academic Counselors and Tutors that worked with the Oakland Unified School District's Class of 2005.

With our help, many more students were able to attend college, and other post secondary opportunities.

In this photo, I see so many people that I spent countless hours with, working, laughing, planning, etc.

I hope Project S.O.A.R. (Successful Options for Academic Readiness) continues to do the work that we started in 1999.
